It’s been said that a couple of the keys to making the most of life is to live with an attitude of gratitude/appreciation and to be joyful. I’d like to pass something on to you. Before I go to sleep, I like to think of what I call “The Joys of the Day”. These could be anything I noticed during the day. Human interactions, playing with pets, something positive with work, clouds around the moon, a pretty sunset, something funny, seeing a child playing or an old couple holding hands, helping someone or allowing someone to give you assistance, a budding flower, progress towards a goal, the sun peeking out on an otherwise cloudy day, etc., etc. By keeping your awareness & senses open, each and every day (yes, even during what might be considered a ‘bad day’) there are always things you’re experiencing that are things for which you can be grateful and which bring joy to your life.
